Sara Wagner

Flagstaff, AZ

2010 was Sara’s first year on the Salomon team. Last year Sara won her age division at the Mt. Washington Road Race/USA Mountain Running Championships and was 2nd in her division at the Gore-Tex TransRockies Run with Salomon teammate Adam Chase.

Over the winter she had her first foray into ultras, placing high in both the Moab Red Hot 55k and Chuckanut 50k. She holds course records for the Shiprock Marathon, Flagstaff Half Marathon, Soulstice Mountain Trail Run, Gaspin’ in the Aspen 15K Trail Run, Kahtoola Agassiz Uphill and Snowbowl Hill Climb, in addition to being the Flagstaff Summer Running Series Champion for the past four years.

When she is not doing public health work for the Coconino County Public Health Services District, she can be found running trails with the Northern Arizona Trail Runners Association or on the track with Team Run Flagstaff (of which she serves on the Board of Directors).
