The 2009 season was full of firsts for Anita; she ran her first 100 k and 100 mile

races, as well as ran in the Pikes Peak Marathon. In her very first 100 mile race,

the Western States 100, she finished first despite getting lost. She set a new

masters record in the Pikes Peak Marathon and finished second in the Miwok

100k. This year, Anita will return to the Western States 100, run the Hardrock

Hundred Mile Endurance Run, and may give the Transrockies a whirl instead of

the Miwok. Wherever she goes, Her S Lab 2 shoes will help her stay ahead of

the pack!
