KILIAN AND CREW

The road was long at times, especially for Kilian, but there were miles of smiles too…

Jason had his Argonauts and Kilian, of course, had to make do with this motley mob. But as Aristotle rightly pointed out, the happy moment can only achieve its fullest meaning when shared among friends or fellow travellers. As the Quest made its way from the vertiginous vineyards of Fully to the rotational of rigours of Lake Tahoe, not forgetting the natural splendours of Corsica, Kilian left more than a trail of broken records in his wake. There were incongruous, post-finish Champagne receptions, with Kilian in the corner of the verge of sleep, convoluted explanations involving equipment and knowing nods but most of all an endless catalogue of laughs, smiles and good times - they all formed part of a fabric of fun that characterised the entire undertaking. Effort was rewarded with success, only fuelling the passion and desire for more – and that’s exactly what you’ll get next year. The Quest has only just begun…
